Multilingual translation configuration

Before launching a translation job, a few settings ensure optimal results for each target language.

Prerequisites

  • Your PrestaShop store must have the languages enabled in its back-office (Shop Parameters > Languages).
  • Fexa AI automatically reads the list of available languages via the MCP Bridge.

Step 1 — Access translation settings

From the main menu, click Translations. The page displays:

  • The list of available languages detected in your store.
  • Your remaining credit balance.
  • Scope options (Products, Categories, CMS Pages).

Step 2 — Choose the scope

Option Description
Products Translates the title, short and long descriptions, and meta tags.
Categories Translates the name, description, and meta tags for each category.
CMS Pages Translates the content of static pages (Legal notice, FAQ, etc.).

Check only the types of items you want to translate to optimize your credit consumption.

Step 3 — Select target languages

Check one or more languages in the list. The counter at the bottom of the page shows you the estimated cost in credits before launching.

Step 4 — Advanced options

  • Priority to key items: limits translation to items with a high SEO score (>70).
  • Overwrite existing translations: if disabled, Fexa AI does not re-translate items that are already translated, reducing credit consumption.

Step 5 — Launch translation

Click Launch AI Translation. A job starts in the background. You can track its progress from the same page.

Tip: For a first test, select a single language and limit the scope to Products to validate the output quality.
