Start a Translation Job

This guide walks you through configuring and validating a complete translation job.

Before You Begin

Make sure you have:

1. At least one language enabled in your PrestaShop back-office.
2. Sufficient credit balance (visible at the top of the Translations page).

Start the Job

1. Go to Translations from the main menu.
2. Select the target languages, scope, and options you want.
3. Click 🚀 Start AI Translation.

The button becomes disabled and a progress indicator appears.

Monitor Progress

The page updates automatically. You see:

• Processed items: number of items translated out of total.
• Status: In Progress, Completed, or Error.

The job runs in the background — you can close the page and come back later.

After the Job

Once the status shows Completed:

• Translations are directly applied in PrestaShop.
• Check a few items in your back-office to validate quality.
• If there's a problem, use the History page to rollback changes.

What to Do in Case of Error?

If the status changes to Error:

• Check details in the History > Scans page.
• Verify that your MCP Bridge is accessible (Connection page).
• Relaunch the job with a reduced scope to isolate the problematic item.
